MBAs focus on more than high-profile jobs with a plush pay packages. They are also seeking careers with purpose and impact. In that dimension, Stanford GSB sets the pace with a perfect 100 index score. Harvard Business School and Dartmouth Tuck, which traditionally rank among the top MBA programs for starting pay and placement, finished behind Stanford, with just .01 of a point separating the two. USC Marshall, home of the vaunted “Trojan Network,” earned its highest score in the alumni network at 95.88, besting the Wharton School in the process. Cornell Johnson and Notre Dame Mendoza punched above their weight in this dimension, placing 8th and 11th. In contrast, MIT Sloan and Chicago Booth turned in disappointing results, ranking 15th and 23rd in this category respectively.
