Share of emergency housing vouchers in use

NC public housing authorities got a combined 1,300 vouchers last spring for people who are homeless. Charlotte has among the lowest usage rates in the state.

*Housing authorities in Fayetteville, Durham, Laurinburg, Wadesboro, Albemarle, Bladenboro, Roanoke-Chowen and Chatham have not reported using a voucher yet. Data as of 4/12/22.
