North Carolina monthly abortions in 2023 & 2024

The estimated number of abortions provided in the state has remained fairly steady after an initial decline when increased abortion restrictions took effect July 1, 2023.

This chart uses the median estimate of monthly abortions. Guttmacher Institute calculates estimates of the number of abortions performed each month based on historical data and data sampled from select abortion clinics.
