Shadowmoss development sparks concerns

A developer requested to fill about two acres of wetlands on a property in the Shadowmoss neighborhood. The project is about a third of a mile from the Bridge Pointe Ecological Park, the site of the city’s largest FEMA buyout. Given the area’s history of flooding issues, the request has alarmed local environmental groups.
