Census will miss counting Americans of color

An Urban Institute estimate projected that the 2020 Census will miss counting 3.5 million people of color who live in the United States.

Black, Alaskan Native and American Indian, and Asian American and Pacific Islander categories exclude anyone who identifies as of Hispanic or Latino origin.
