Data included 16,406 autistic people and an equal number of non-autistic age- and gender-matched controls enrolled in the Clalit Health Organization, the largest health organization in Israel. About 7.1 percent of autistic people and 6.2 percent of non-autistic people in the study group were infected with SARS-CoV-2. The mean age of the participants was 14.39 years, and 80.4 percent were male.
