The International Energy Agency's Stated Policies Scenario (STEPS) models the future of the global energy system based on existing policies and those currently in development. STEPS is considered a more conservative model than those based on announced pledges and targets. Totals include electricity generated from solar photovoltaics, wind, coal, natural gas, nuclear, and hydropower.
