The question read: "Thinking about the lockdowns that have been imposed since the covid-19 pandemic, which of the following statements is closest to your view?" The answers were: (1) The main motivation for restrictions/lockdowns is to help limit the spread of the virus [The Trustful]. (2) The main motivation for restrictions/lockdowns is to give the government an excuse to control the public [The Accusers]. (3) The main motivation for restrictions/lockdowns is to make it look like the government is in control of the situation [The Suspicious].
