The number of veterans experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis has generally been on the decline since 2016. During the 2022 Marion County Point-in-Time Count there were 167 adults experiencing homelessness who indicated they had served in the U.S. Armed Forces – down 35 percent from the 2021.
