The U.S. water utilities with the highest atrazine levels in tests from 2021-2023 are located in eastern Kansas.

This data comes from the Environmental Working Group's Tap Water Database. Contamination levels at these utilities fell below the legal limit for atrazine. However, the public health group points to studies suggesting lower exposure levels may harm humans, too.
