Small farms produce negligible amounts of the USA's beef

FarmKind analysis of USDA data for 2022 shows that farms selling <50 beef cows/yr contribute 3.4% of the nation's beef cow sales, and less than 10% of state sales in the majority of states. States with negligible production (<0.1% of US total) are grayed out as outliers.
