President Tsai Ing-wen's U.S. Transits Are Longer than Her Predecessors'

Bars show the longest and shortest transit by each president, measured in number of nights spent in the United States. The average of each president's trips are highlighted.

Note: President Lee's 1995 "private visit" is included, but the visit was materially different from "transits." If his private visit is excluded his average drops to 0.5 and the longest transit drops to 1 night.
