Estimate of the current prevalence of smoking among people aged 15 and over in 2025. Global average: 20%; Switzerland: 25%.
Note: all types of tobacco products are included. These include cigarettes, pipes, cigars, hookahs, heated tobacco products and all forms of smokeless tobacco (oral and nasal). Electronic cigarettes (which do not contain tobacco) are not included.
