Ian, Katrina and Harvey caused most financial destruction of any hurricanes in 21st century

Hurricane Ian (2022) caused the most financial damage of any hurricane at $133 billion. It is not yet known how much the damage from Milton (and Helene) will cost.
Combined, these seven add up to over half a trillion dollars in damage.
