Cities are ranked using composite scores based on four metrics: gender pay gap; median earnings for women in tech, adjusted for regional price parity; women’s share of all tech workers; and overall tech employment concentration. Tech employment concentration is not displayed in this table.

ⁱⁱ Share of tech workforce represents the percentage of all tech workers who are women.
ⁱⁱⁱ Women’s earnings as a share of men’s represents women’s estimated median salary as a percentage of men’s estimated median salary in tech.
Note: Cities were ranked relative to one another within this 50-city sample; inclusion in the study does not indicate that every city analyzed should be considered among the nation’s best cities for women in tech.
