Private and public school application numbers diverged in their response to UCs going test blind

Growth in the number of applications to each UC campus between 2017-19 and 2022-24, grouped by strength of high school coursework.

For each campus and honors group, the calculation is the average number of applications in 2022-24 divided by the average number of applications in 2017-19, minus one. Data for 2020 and 2021 excluded to avoid pandemic effects.
