538's presidential polling averages for battleground states and districts, plus the change in Kamala Harris' margin over Donald Trump since Sept. 27 and a rolling total of candidates' electoral votes if they won states where they lead

* Nebraska awards one of its five electoral votes to the candidate who wins the state's 2nd District. 538 has no polling average for the district, but the median race rating between The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, and Sabato's Crystal Ball is "Lean D," as of Oct. 4.

Data as of Oct. 4 at 1:45 PM ET. The baseline electoral vote for each candidate (Harris with 225, Trump with 219) reflects them winning states and districts that their parties reliably won in past presidential elections. Margins may be affected by rounding.
