Proportion of Canadian children aged zero to five on waiting lists for child care, 2022 - 2023

Since last year, more children not currently in child care are on waiting lists for a slot, with the fastest growth among infants.

Note: The above proportions do not include children who are already in child care of some kind, and do not include those in the territories.
