Undocumented immigrant enrollment in Medi-Cal plunged 86,000 in the first two months of the year 

While some individuals fall off Medi-Cal due to death, lapses in paperwork or changes to income, policy analysts say such a sudden and consistent downturn is more likely due to external forces.


Data represents undocumented adults enrolled in California’s Medi-Cal expansion programs. Some lawfully present green card holders in the 5-year waiting period are also included.
