NHS England consists of funding for NHS England, NHS Improvement and NHS Digital. NHS Improvement and NHS Digital were merged into NHS England in 2022 and 2023 respectively. NHS funding data in 2012/13 is not consistent with other years so has been excluded. HMRC data was included in the dataset for the first time in 2017/18.
