The Security Benchmark Report captures information on security budgets and total reported revenue in the global enterprise. To calculate security budget as a percent of revenue across security programs in the Business Services, Professional Services, Consulting and IT sectors, the security budget was divided by the total revenue, before calculating the average percent among the market sector. In the rare case that a reported number appeared incorrect or inaccurately reported, that data was left out of this ranking. In addition, the high and low outlier for each dataset was left out in order to present a cleaner comparison. For overall average among all respondents, see the main report. In this sector, 43% of respondents note their security budget being for both physical and IT security.
