Occupation by Race/Ethnicity

In a snapshot of Latinos in higher education, the nonprofit Excelencia in Education cites 2021 national employment data showing that Latinos are overrepresented in lower-paying occupations compared to other racial and ethnic groups. The organization says there's more that colleges and universities can do to support Latino college students in graduating and, ultimately, increasing their salary potential.
