More Americans are angry voters. They don't believe they have a say in what the government does, but still vote

Believing voters = don't agree they have no say (including "neither," an option added in 1988) and voted; angry = agree but voted anyway; resigned = agree and didn't vote; standby = don't agree and didn't vote. People overstate voting to pollsters: in 2020, 84% of respondents said they voted, while 67% of eligible Americans did. ANES interviewing moved mostly online after 2012 — entirely so in 2020 — and online respondents agree with "no say" more; the angry-voter lead also holds among 2024 in-person respondents.
