Democratic margins in N.J. drop sharply

Democrats won New Jersey by 14.1% in 2016 ‘s presidential election and by 15.6% in the 2020 contest. Kamala Harris is on track to win the state by around 6% this time, with final counts still underway. This table shows the county-by-county margins in the past three elections.

The results of the 2024 election have not yet been certified and mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day can be accepted through Nov. 11.
