Number of full-benefit dual-eligible individuals

Full-benefit dual-eligible individuals receive full Medicaid benefits and Medicaid payment of Medicare premiums and, in many cases, cost-sharing. This is the group that would be impacted by the bill.

Includes dual-eligible individuals with at least one month of enrollment in Medicare Part A or Part B, including individuals in traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Estimates include people with Medicare living in the 50 states and DC, excluding residents in the territories. Individuals are assigned to full-benefit status if they received full benefits during any month of the year. Individuals are assigned to partial-benefit status if they did not receive full benefits in any month but received partial benefits during any month of the year.
