More than 1,600 people died from drug overdoses in Kensington's 19134 zip code from 2015 through 2024, a total that is well over twice as high as any other zip code in Philadelphia. In 2024, the last year for which data were available, 179 people died from overdoses in Kensington's zip code, about a 6% decrease from the previous year.
