This variable was missing for at least 10 per cent of respondents. Respondents could choose multiple options. The full survey was conducted with a non-random sample of 2,873 trans and non-binary people aged 14 years and above living in Canada. Newcomers, who represented three per cent of the survey sample, were defined as individuals who moved to Canada within the last five years of survey completion.
