NOTE: Status of abortion as September 29, 2023. Medication abortion telehealth restrictions include: physician physical presence laws/ bans on telehealth provision of medication abortion, in-person counseling requirements, and ultrasound requirements.
*In Georgia and South Carolina, 6-week LMP gestational limits are in effect.
In March 2023, WY legislature passed SF109, which prohibits the use of medication abortion drugs. The law was slated to go into effect July 1, 2023, but was blocked by a court order before then.
