The income data in the SILC 2020 survey relates to the year 2019, i.e. before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Social transfers in the narrow sense cover all social transfers excluding old-age and survivors' benefits (e.g. family allowances, invalidity pensions, granting of reduced health insurance premiums, social assistance or unemployment insurance daily allowances). In the case of the poverty rate before all social transfers, old-age and survivors' benefits are also considered to be social transfers.
