Estimated SNAP Benefit Cost Share

How much states will have to pay for SNAP benefits based on their FY2025 Payment Error Rates.

States with error rates under 6% have no cost share. Error rates of 6-8% pay 5%, error rates of 8-10% pay 10%, and states with rates 10% and higher pay 15%. States with especially high rates can delay implementation until 2029 or 2030.
