Increased or new fees or taxes on GOP's list

Republicans identified 338 charges they said increased or were added (three of them taxes and the rest fees) since Democratic Gov. Wes Moore took office in Jan. 2023. The Baltimore Sun found that at least five of the fees weren't new or increased so omitted them from this chart.

*"Other" category comprises fee increases for airport parking (4), eviction filings (3), guns (3), and horse racing (3); three tobacco tax increases; and one new paint fee.
