In-state, out-of-state and international UC admissions from 2016-2025

In-state first-year admissions for the nine UC campuses accepting incoming freshmen have risen from 70,852 in 2016 to 100,947 in 2025. Out-of-state admissions peaked in 2021 at 28,091; from 2016 (17,054) they have risen to 26,191 in 2025. International admissions have risen the least, from 17,169 in 2016 to 22,230 in 2025.
