Thirty-three States Saw Increase in K-12 Charter School Enrollment from Fall 2019 to Fall 2020

Public charter schools currently serve more than 3.4 million students, which equates to 7.2% of all public school students. The number of charter students has tripled since the 2005-06 school year.
