Proposed 2035 water conservation targets

The California Water Resources Control Board has proposed mandatory conservation targets under a new formula for the 400-some largest water suppliers in California, starting as early as 2025. The board says its targets would reduce residential and outdoor commercial/industrial water use statewide by 9%.
