An Abbreviated Run at .400

While he doesn't have as high a hill to climb as Teddy Ballgame did, Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is in fine position to shoot for MLB's first .400 season since 1941. With a boost from the shortened schedule, Blackmon is hitting .437 with 38 games remaining, ahead of where Ted Williams, Tony Gwynn, and George Brett were with a similar number of games remaining in their bids at history.

NOTE: The numbers along the bottom show the number of team games remaining for each player in their given season.
