Neighborhoods in linguistic landscapes study

The author analyzed over 3,000 signs in three commercial districts of Philadelphia with large Spanish-speaking communities. These were in the Italian Market area of South Philadelphia, along the Golden Block in North Philadelphia, and along a stretch of N. Fifth Street in Olney in upper North Philadelphia.
