ICS respiratory emergency childhood admissions ranking
Based on respiratory emergency admissions for children aged 0-15.
Rank assigned based on childhood (0-15 years) emergency respiratory admission rates, with rank 1 assigned to the ICB with the lowest annual respiratory emergency admission rate in 2025/2026. Rates are calculated using age group-specific populations for each ICS and normalised per 100,000 population.
Spell: Total time a patient spends in hospital or under the care of physician(s). A spell may comprise one or more episodes.
