Handling of protests

Last month, the Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, visited Australia to pay his respects to the Bondi victims and their families, as well as to meet political leaders and Jewish communities around the country. Pro-Palestine and Anti-Israel activities protested about his visit. These protests turned violent at some points, with both protestors and police blaming each other. Chris Minns made the decision to restrict the protest area and not allow it to march and also supported a heavy police presence. How do you think he handled this situation?
