Passing the Keystones

The chart below shows the statewide averages of the percentage of 11th graders who scored proficient or above on the Keystone Exams from 2019-2022. The Keystone Exams were not administered in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Students' scores on these end-of-course exams taken in middle and high school years are "banked" and reported when the student is in 11th grade.

* Fewer students participated in Keystone Exams in 2021 than in past years. The 2021 results do not reflect a representative sample of the student population.
