Who can send IPAWS alerts?

Today, more than 2,000 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial alerting authorities use IPAWS to issue critical public alerts and warnings in their jurisdictions. Below is a list of Texas cities or jurisdictions that have IPAWS alerting authority. If a city or jurisdiction is not listed, it cannot directly send IPAWS alerts or may be applying to become an alerting authority.
