The table below shows the cost of the cheapest available single-trip travel insurance from booking platforms, and the cheapest available long-term travel insurance from Swiss insurance providers.

The cost for a single adult is for a one-week travel booking in July worth 1500 francs. The cost for a family is for a one-week flight and hotel package booking in July worth 4000 francs. Note that premiums may be higher if you need to insure a more expensive trip, or if you need additional cover on top of basic trip cancellation and interruption insurance. The premiums were sampled on March 31 and April 1, 2026. Figures are rounded down to the nearest whole Swiss franc.
