Comparing the costs of hydrogen production

Green hydrogen is the cleanest form, using renewable energy to split H₂ from water. Gray, made from fossil fuels, is the dirtiest with the most CO₂ emissions. Blue uses carbon capture and storage to keep gray emissions out of the atmosphere. Turquoise uses renewable energy to split methane into H₂ and solid carbon.
