Colorado bucks population slump

The U.S. population growth rate slowed to the lowest point in decades in 2021, according to new U.S. Census Bureau estimates. But Colorado's population, after years of cooling growth rates, rose during the global coronavirus pandemic. The biggest growth in the past year has been in Idaho, and the biggest decline was in the District of Columbia.
