A stacked bar chart showing the labour force participation and employment rates for the population aged 25 to 59 in the fourth quarter of 2024. The labour force participation rates and, in particular, the employment rates for immigrants from Africa as a whole are significantly lower than those of the native-born population and the other immigrant groups analysed. However, in this case there are notable differences between the two African subgroups, as Moroccans have much lower rates. Specifically, the labour force participation rate is 19 percentage points lower among Moroccans than among Sub-Saharans, and the employment rate is 23 percentage points lower.
