Source Note: Job applications for new buildings (NB) were filed with the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and only include initial filings (I1) with a file date on or between 04/01/21 - 06/30/21. Applicant's professional title limited to architects (RA) only. New building job types include ground-up projects only (projects of greater than 500 total building square footage), with accessory units (i.e. garages) excluded from this study. Project data was shared with firms for confirmation, though not all firms participated.
