Sack and defensive yardage gained in the last five games

Vanderbilt has dominated the trenches, and its defensive linemen have consistently gotten to the opposing quarterback.

Against Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt's quarterback was sacked twice for a loss of 16 yards, while the defense managed to sack Virginia Tech’s quarterback four times for a total loss of 25 yards. In the game against Alcorn State, Vanderbilt also allowed two sacks for 15 yards, but their defense didn’t allow any sacks on the opposing quarterback. Facing Georgia State, Vanderbilt was sacked twice for a 15-yard loss, while sacking their opponent once for 14 yards. In the game against Missouri, Vanderbilt managed to avoid any sacks, while their defense sacked Missouri's quarterback twice for an 8-yard loss. Similarly, in the Alabama game, Vanderbilt wasn’t sacked, but sacked the opposing quarterback twice for an 11-yard loss.
