The Lockdown rank for each area was calculated by The Ferret, based on Google Mobility Report data for Scotland. The larger the number the more impact the lockdown has had in the area. Google did not publish data for "very rural" areas of Scotland. The data compares the median activity in the period Jan 3–Feb 6, 2020 with activity to April 5 2020. Deprivation data and urban/rural classifications based on Scottish Government research.
