They were charged with 1.82 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Central Saanich, Black people make up 0.49 per cent of the population. They were charged with 2.3 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Delta, Black people make up 0.78 per cent of the population. They were charged with 2.55 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Nelson, Black people make up 0.58 per cent of the population. They were charged with 1.2 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In New Westminster, Black people make up 2.49 per cent of the population. They were charged with 6.6 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Oak Bay, Black people make up 0.31 per cent of the population. They were charged with 0.79 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Port Moody, Black people make up 0.9 per cent of the population. They were charged with 3.89 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Saanich, Black people make up 1.03 per cent of the population. They were charged with 2.01 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Victoria and Esquimalt, Black people make up 1.43 per cent of the population. They were charged with 2.5 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Vancouver, Black people make up 1.02 per cent of the population. They were charged with 5.29 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In West Vancouver, Black people make up 0.26 per cent of the population. They were charged with 2.53 per cent of the crimes in this sample.
