A long march for asylum

Several families with children and individual adults, most from Venezuela, made months-long treks from their homelands to the U.S./Mexico border to seek asylum in the United States. Since their arrival in El Paso, the state of Texas sent them by bus to Denver, where an aid organization paid for them to take a bus to Fresno in late January 2024.
