2025 Sacramento County homicides

There were 70 homicides in Sacramento County in 2025, down 20% from the previous year's total of 88. According to preliminary data, 36 were reported in the city of Sacramento, 18 in the unincorporated portion of the county, two in Citrus Heights, seven in Elk Grove. No homicides were reported in Rancho Cordova and Folsom.
